Part 2: Vienna!
After a night of missing trains, sleeping on trains, getting lost somewhere in the Czech Republic and/or Slovakia... we finally made it to Vienna, Austria in the early morning, around 7 or 8 am. We took a shower and left our bags at the hostel we were supposed to have stayed at, and head out first to the Schönbrunn Palace

The next five pictures were taken there, showing the Gloriette, the gardens, the fountain and the palace itself.

Below is a picture of St. Stephan's Cathedral, famous for it's roof.

Since this was in December, the Christmas markets were going on out in front of City Hall, with food, hot drinks and music.
The next two pictures were taken at the Imperial Palace.

Next up, the final stop on our eastern european adventure, Budapest!

Part 1: Prague!
Prague was one of my favorite cities on my eastern european trip to Prauge, Vienna, and Budapest in early December. We had amazing views of everything and the sky was constantly beautiful, which made my pictures look a hundred times more gorgeous. Everyone was very nice, and the people at our hostel gave us great information about the culture of the Czech Republic .
Below is a picture from the Christmas Markets in the Old Town Square, where there was a children's choir performing Christmas songs.

On the other side of Old Town Square is the Astronomical clock, seen below, that does something special on the hour every hour (or so they say) It was actually not that spectacular, but the clock itself is beautiful.

As we were walking out the door in the morning, the lady working at the hostel suggested we check out an old fort just 3 minutes away from the location of our hostel. We're so glad she did, because it gave us some of the prettiest pictures on the trip...

This is a view from the bottom of the Prague Castle onto the river.

A neat looking street on our hike up to Prague Castle.
